About the Scriptures:
We believe that the Bible, both Old and New Testaments in their original writings, is the inspired Word of God, and that it is the supreme and final authority in faith and life.
(II Tim. 3:16, 17; II Peter 1:19-21)
About God:
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
(Matt. 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; II Cor. 13:14)
About Jesus Christ, His person; His work:
We believe in the virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, that He is true God and true man, God the Son, and the Son of God. We believe in His bodily resurrection, His ascension and His bodily visible return to the world according to His promise.
(Gen. 3:15; Isa. 7:14; Matt. 1:18-25; Luke 1:35; John 1:14, 14:1-3; 1 Cor. 15)
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins as our substitutionary sacrifice and all who believe in Him and the finished work of Calvary by faith are justified in God's eyes on the ground of His shed blood and have everlasting life now and forever.
(Gal. 3:13; Rom. 5:8; Eph. 1:7; John 3:36, 5:24)
About the Holy Spirit:
We believe that the Holy Spirit is a Divine Person, equal with God the Father, and with God the Son and that He convicts the world of sin, of righteousness, of judgment and is the restraining force against the evil one until God's purpose is fulfilled. We believe He convicts, regenerates and indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He comforts, sanctifies and teaches the believer.
( John 14:16; 16:8-11; Matt. 28:19; II Thess. 2:7)
About Human Beings:
We believe that man was created in the image of God and that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also spiritual death, which is separation from God. We believe since his fall, all human beings are born with a sinful nature and all who stay in this state are serving their father, the devil and are doomed to the lake of fire.
(Gen. 1:27; Rom. 5:12; John 8:44; Eph. 2:3;Rev. 20:15)
About Salvation:
We believe that in order to be saved, sinners must be born again by the Spirit of God, which makes one a new creation and a child of God. We believe that salvation is a free gift, by grace, entirely apart from works.
(John 3:3-6; Eph. 2:8,9; II Cor. 5:17; John 1:12)
About Eternity:
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust; in the everlasting blessedness of the saved and the everlasting punishment of the lost.
(1 Cor. 15:51-57; 1 Thes. 4:15-17; John 14:1-4; Rev. 20:12-15)
About the Church:
We believe that the New Testament church is a body of believers joined for worship in fulfillment to His commission and that the church is to be governed by the Scriptures.
(Acts 2:41, 16:31-34; Gal. 1:6-12)
