"Serving and proclaiming Jesus Christ, the Light of the World"

Pastor Bob Niklaus comes to Mullein Hill with a wonderfully rich background in missions, journalism, communications, publishing, and teaching. He, his wife Janet and three daughters have served on the mission field in Congo for almost 15 years. Upon returning to the United States in 1972, Pastor Bob served with the national office of the Christian and Missionary Alliance including a position as director of communications and assistant to
the president. He has published several books and written a number of articles for various Christian magazines. Pastor Bob was also managing editor of Alliance Life magazine as well as editor of the National Religious Broadcasters magazine. He produced quarterly video magazine issues for the Alliance, contracting with Fresh Air Productions and has received awards for his work in script writing and production.

His educational background includes a degree in missiology and theology from Nyack College and a master's in religious journalism from Syracuse University Graduate School of Journalism.

Pastor Bob and his wife have served together in ministry for over 40 years. Janet served in medical work during their time overseas and in church activities. They have three daughters, two of whom reside in the midwest and one in Assonet.

Pastor Bob accepted the call to become senior pastor here at Mullein Hill in October 2003. "Everything is in God's hands, in His timing. I was content when I was in the Congo, and there's no place on God's good earth that I'd rather be than where I am now."
