Trustees

Trustees shall be elected because of their spiritual and business-like interests in the program of the church as set forth in Article 6, Section B.

Trustees shall be custodians of all property, real and personal, and administer the use of such in accordance with the wishes of the church. The Board of Trustees shall:

  • Meet regularly
  • Prepare and submit a church budget on a annual basis for the Annual Business Meeting
  • Prepare and submit a report for the Annual Business Meeting
  • Annually arrange for an audit of the books of the church treasurer
  • Serve according to the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Supervise the actual care of the place of worship, being responsible for its attractiveness, cleanliness and presentable appearance
  • Seek church approval for expenditures over $1500 that are not provided for in the budget
  • Maintain the establishment of the Cemetery Commission Committee Article 8, Section C
